Buying an auto Stateside......
Hi there, new to this site after reading about it off visapro.Very impressed & no doubt will be on here alot.
Im a Brit currently waiting on NSC & NVC to approve I-130.
Whilst I know other things maybe alot more important at this time, Im keen when I get over to Michigan to sort myself with a vehicle & being as I will be living out in the 'Boon Docks' I have my heart set on something a little rugged!
Ideally I would love an ex-military LandRover as we live out on a 'dirt track' & I have given up on the idea of having a 'nice family car'.
Something, from past experience I know will just keep going & going & I wouldnt mind if it gets dirty!
So, with that in mind, does anyone know of any source for getting my hands on such a vehicle & what the costs maybe for import. Also.......stuff like spare parts......anything to advise would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!
