I'm a looking for a job as a Building Inspector or Building Enclosure Commissioner in the Twin Cities area.

I moved to the USA in April 2021 on a K1 Visa and received my work permit in January 2022. My educational background is a Master's in Building Surveying and I have worked in construction for 5+ years.

I would appreciate any indications of certifications I should keep my eye out for or any contacts that can be shared so that I may set up an informational interview. I just want to work at this point even though I'm a great house husband.

As every state is different, your best bet is to google the Minn state requirements and qualifications for the kind of job you want. Perhaps ascertain if there is a professional body for the profession whose website would give guidance.

It would be important to have your resume written in terminology in common use here. Research how your training and experience relates to American job descriptions.
