Blaze does, she lives a few miles east of Syracuse.....but she hasn't posted for a while.

I think that Patrick Hasler and Rushman live somewhere upstate too.

My best friend's boyfriend has a house in Hunter Mountain (Jewett) with a creek, which he uses as a weekender (his big plan is to rent it out but he's charging a fortune so he rarely seems to get any tenants LOL!) and we're often invited up there....shame that he's a prat though....

Do you live anywhere near the Catskills or do you live nearer to the Adirondack mountain range, Lake George etc.?

I am actually as far south of the Catskills as you can get before its collectively referred to as the Hudson valley.

Yup, and its called upstate around these parts. I know what your saying though, but as soon as you get out of Rockland county into Orange and north its a shift.

Anything south of Albany is considered 'civilisation" from up here.

Years ago a friend (lost touch with) had a huge rambling house on 100 acres near Albany, had a funny name, I should pull a map up and look. It was lovely but very remote. We would hear people shooting the deer in their woods but by the time we got there it would be too late!
