Brits in New York?
 

I've just found this site, and am wondering if there are any organized groups - formal or informal - of ex-pat Brits living in NYC? I've lived here for six years, and although I'm happily assimilated (and desperately want to avoid groups of homesick Brits sitting and whingeing about the Americans - partly because I have two very American daughters), I miss the company of the English ... (particularly their larger view on life, their humor, knowing what words like "whinge" mean). Any information gratefully appreciated.
