Default British student loan tax question

Hey all,

Tried googleing but couldn't find chuff all. I've been paying my student loan at around $2500 a year (not a lot to go now thank god!) but was wondering if a British student loan is tax deductable?

Anyone know or is it just those US loans and I have to take it like a man

Hi Andy, I dont know the answer to that question, but I seem to recall the subject has come up before. Try having a search in the forums. Failing that I'm sure someone will be along soon who maybe has had the same issue themselves.

No, I try every year but I can't deduct it. Makes sense because it has nothing to do with the US government.
