[QUOTE=BigDavyG]I spend most of the day listening to Radio 1.
On my phone I have 400 mp3's including stuff from from The Jam, Public Enemy, NWA, William Orbit, Beth Orton, The Neptunes, Moby, David Holmes, St Etienne, Kosheen, A-Ha, Blur, The Clash, KLF, New Order, Muse, Madness, The Prodigy, blah, blah, blah. So quite a diverse mix there.
...errr 'A-Ha'...Was that a typo ???!!???! :scared:

I had tickets for a Paul Weller show in Detroit a while back, but it got cancelled. I am off to see Oasis in Cincinnati next week though, should be a good show.

Wtf is wrong with A-Ha - Touchy is a pop classic, Take on Me, Stay on These Roads, Crying in the rain - quality stuff.
You can't beat a bit of 80's pop.

Holy shit! I was worried that you and I had such similar musical taste (and Celsius too!!!) but with your defense of A-Ha you've put my mind to rest!!!
If you're looking for the best, most interesting way to get legal music for next to nothing ($1.49 per CD) check out LaLa.com. It's a place where you can trade your unwanted CDs with others for a minimal price (20% of which actually goes to the artist, even though it's really just a used-CD store). You list all the CDs you have and all the CDs you want. The system tells you if other people want your CDs. If they do, you choose to send them (in prepaid envelopes) or keep them. The more CDs you send, the more CDs you will receive from your wanted list.
The site is in private beta right now, but if you google "lala usa today private beta" you'll find a link in a USA Today journalist's blog to sign up before the July site launch date.
I've been a member for only three days and have so far exchanged 5 utterly crappy CDs that I never want to hear again for 8 CDs I was prepared to pay full price for... and all for a total cost of $11.92 including postage. Even YourMusic.com, my previous source of $5.99 CDs can't beat that for price!

I never knew Madness were still around and playing....I listen to their cd in my car all the time. Just shows how the great bands stand the test of time.
