Exclamation British License holder driving a US insured car

Hi, I am travelling to NYC on the 19th of Feb.

I wanted to drive my father-in-law's car from NYC into Canada for a couple of days with my wife, but was wondering if I would be insured under his policy? OR would I need to call them have me authorised or something?

I am 25 years old, hold a full manual UK driver's license and I am insured on my own car in the UK. I have had my license for 5 years and 11 months.

Thanks

Have your FIL call the insurance company. Sorted.

He would just need to notify them right? Not add me onto the policy or anything?

Call and ask them. They'll have their own policies.
