Bugger... I've just found the match commentary on Five Live... I missed the entire first half...

0 - 1. Good start!!!

I've been looking at the commentary on Soccernet. The guy doing the typing has issues.... He managed to describe the Lampard goal and an earlier attempt by Haas as "cute"!! Am I the only person who would not associate the word cute with a football match!?!

2nd half... Bring on Shaun W-P !!!!!

Ah shite - they let the pub team (Alan Green's description) to score.

Set piece as usual.

What a pile of shit James is, I swear he is the route cause for a lack lustre display time and time again for england. Judging some of the teams reactions (Terry and Cole) to James, they obviously have no confidence in him what so ever. That then reflects on the rest of the team, also time to make Gerrad Captain and not make Beckham default as in his last 4/5 performances for England he hasnt seemed to get out of 1st gear.

Bit of a hic up in the qualifying, but when have we ever made it easy for ourselves. Bring on Poland.

It could be worse though. This guy lost 45 grand betting on England to win 2-0.

Souness ???
Gotta be only a temporary arrangement until Freddie Sheppard's secret lover Shearer is ready to take his throne.
Am I not the only one who thinks this is a bad move ? I mean... look at what he's done with Blackburn. Nothing. I could think of 10 other names who are better than him.
Guaranteed he will not be there next season.

talking of coaches etc, the U-10 Girls team I coach had their first game tonight. A 2-2 pre-season friendly with another team in the 6 team league round here. Damn site easier watching & playing then running the line kicking every ball with them. Was a sheer delight to watch our no. 9 get the ball in their area, chip the keeper and whirl away knowing she had scored. Least my Hawks didn't lose 2-0 this week !

That reminds me, Manc coaches a team as well. I don't know if he is still in the land of the Canuks or back in Mich. Manc - how's your Orange army ?
(I think he coaches a girls team too. Spooky coincidence.)
