No I haven't the Chess Pie sounds interesting and you actually reminded me of the cakes that Kroger has in the freezer section in the bakery department. I must remember to look there Thanks

The other day I had a craving for Almond fingers (no chance!)

It always amazes me how you know everything about anything!

British biscuits, and snack foods, are a niche area of expertise for me because I used to work for United Biscuits (McVitie's, Crawfords, and KP, among other brands).

Oh, I see! So you are either CJ or Reginald Perrin in real life? And you didn't get where you are today by not thinking ginger nuts once had a rounded top?

I was talking to my Mum back in England about hazlenut yogurts that we had a lot growing up - today she sent me a photo of one which has made me want one even more.
Does anyone know anywhere that sells them?

I'm coming over on 8th June if you want me to bring anything else -I don't think yoghurt will survive the journey!

I'm especially missing indulgent puds from the chiller section: tiramisu, creme brûlée, definitely anything by Gu, that sort of thing. Haven't found anything like them, more's the pity. Am I shopping in the wrong stores?I'm a much nicer person after a warm chocolate fondant.

Tillamook used to make Hazlnut/Filbert yogurts.

I did enjoy a UK hazelnut yoghurt last week, still taste as good as I remember them. I also bought custard with clotted cream.

For those in the metrowest area of MA, British Delights is pretty good. Shipping, not so much. The Union Jack, in Peabody was closing down, but someone has bought it, so it's staying open but they were having pretty good clear out sale for a while.

Talking to my sister about the next time she comes to visit... on the list will be Paxo and lots of it... I used to get it at both world market and Meijer and neither carry it now.

We don't have much planned and I'll be working a lot of the time she's here but she'll get time with the little one and that's what's important.
