British Comedy is back!

Hello everyone!
I recently discovered a superb Britsh/Irish Comedy website http://www.jaibindi.com I cried laughing listening to the phone pranks, my favourite phone prank has to be SEXY MONKEY!

Well, I just splashed out $350 and bought a multi region DVD player then ordered season 1 and 2 of Allo Allo from Amazon.co.uk.

When they arrived I had three very late nights, it's a 3 DVD set see.

When my green card comes through I'm buying a keg of bitter and throwing a party where the Americans will be forced to drink beer at the proper temperature and watch Allo Allo, Red Dwark and Black Adder.

I used the following search term in www.google.com

multiregion dvd pal ntsc -.co.uk

And the first hit was www.dvdshippers.com, I think that's where I bought it. Suddenly these are easy to get hold of. The JVC XVS500BK I bought works very well. To change regions you just switch it off then press the new region and then the enter button, the unit powers up shows the old region then the new and powers down again. Now use it in the new region. I have some Carry On films as well and they look fine on a standard fairly cheap TV.

When was Open All Hours on PBS?! Although only a lowly American, I absolutely adore British comedy (well, there are a few exceptions)! Here in Portland, OR, Saturday night is reserved for the Britcom lineup, but I've seen the ones they play so many times, I can say the lines along with them. I'm going to get the DTs if I don't get my fix of a new Britcom soon!
