Default British Banker in DESPERATE need of job in USA

I am 49 yrs old, British national on F2 visa( wife F1 student).
Unable to find any decent job in banking or finance field resulting multiple family problem.
Have two teenagers. Need some help and guidance as how to do job search. I think there is something wrong with my resume.

Flipdog.com
hotjobs.com
Get a book on resume writing - they like a differnt type of format over here depending on the industry - it'll give you examples etc. or even try looking that up online for free.
Also try the local Credit Unions - they often pay more and are kind of like building societies back home, but they are non-profit organizations and offer all the services that banks do.
Also, try the major banks' websites
Bank of America etc.
