Re: Brit Shops in Chicago
we've been here since first week of jan but due to decorating, getting kids back from my wifes ex and generally being extremely busy with the new job we've not had much chance to look around.
my wife did find the cost plus but I haven't been up there yet.
you'll have to come around for a sunday dinner sometime... I make a nice one apparently... roast pork, crackling, yorkshire puds, roast potatoes....bisto... everyone so far has loved it.

PM'd ya
our boys are 3.5 & 4.5, we've not actually found a babysitter around here yet but a meetup sounds good. The wife isn't english tho so she might get a little overwhelmed if she suddenly meets more

and mmmm.... roast potatoes are the best things...
I think there's an Irish shop here in Crystal lake too, and of course World Market. Kinda far away from you though.

I just use standard muffin tins if I'm making small ones or 8inch cake tins for large ones.

I used the muffin tins too, and thought they were fine. But I was told they were meant to be bigger around (let us not deviate from the proper size of course lol). And thus discovered muffin top tins. I suppose some day I should try to make muffin tops...
