Excellent, thanks so much! Yes we'll definitely have to get together. What ages are the kids? We have one daughter, 5 1/2 years old. We need to have you over, too. You said The Irish Way was 1 mile from you - which direction? (Been to Quigley's Irish Pub yet? - there was going to be a Brit meetup from meetup.com there on the 17th until I pointed out that was St. Paddy's Day Might be a tad packed then ). Be careful at Cost Plus... I could easily bankrupt us there.

PM'd ya

our boys are 3.5 & 4.5, we've not actually found a babysitter around here yet but a meetup sounds good. The wife isn't english tho so she might get a little overwhelmed if she suddenly meets more

I've made the roast dinner for my Scottish fiance, but roast beef. I did disccover, after some difficulty, the perfect substitute for Yorkshire Pudding tins - MUFFIN TOP PANS! I couldn't actually believe there was such a thing lolol. But they work perfectly.

and mmmm.... roast potatoes are the best things...

I think there's an Irish shop here in Crystal lake too, and of course World Market. Kinda far away from you though.

I just use standard muffin tins if I'm making small ones or 8inch cake tins for large ones.

I used the muffin tins too, and thought they were fine. But I was told they were meant to be bigger around (let us not deviate from the proper size of course lol). And thus discovered muffin top tins. I suppose some day I should try to make muffin tops...
