Brit pub visit.
I've been here almost two years, but I finally went to one of the two Brit pubs in town last night. Was actually a semi sureal experience because the place could pass for a proper Brit pub except for the Suns playoff game on the big screen. Plenty of Brits in there also proping up the bar. Had a couple of pints of Harp and a good plate of fish and chips.

making me hungry now
There's a dodgy attempt at an Irish bar a few towns over, but it's shite, does have good live music now and again though, but bit far to drive for a piss up.
And there's a pretty good attempt at a pub in Portland, but it just has a stale atmosphere, which is a shame...

It's called the George & Dragon. They have two here, one in Phoenix and one in Tempe.

of course a septic such as myself would ruin the atmosphere. I've had a hard time finding a decent pub in many of the cities I've travelled to which I *know* are big enough to support at least one, or two....
