Yes. No question about that. When was the last time that a GA traffic stop resulted in the officer being shot?
I'm sure GOOGLE will find something, but as someone with a GA Deputy's badge his wallet, I am happy knowing in advance that maybe someone in a stopped vehicle has a loaded weapon.

As for the last time, how about a month ago:

Number of officers shot in the line of duty in Georgia versus in the UK? I'm all ears, but I suspect it's very much higher in the former than the latter.

At the end of the day , America is as third world as anywhere , probably more so , a gov that doesnt give a shit , no healthcare , and if it wasnt for Mexican labour and construction skills it would crumble . Would be interesting to see what would happen if they all went back to Mexico , some of the idle , useless , drug infused idiot rednecks i have had to deal with over the years amazes me, at least immigrants WANT to work , instead of ..WELL , I GOT ENUFF FOR DIP AND A 12 PACK !..Any way , back to the thread , i hope that shit gets charged as an adult and gets the death sentence he deserves .

Tyson was arrested on April 7 - nine days before the killings - for shooting at a car. On that same day, Jessica Cunningham said he pointed a gun at her and her niece, saying: "I'll kill both of you bitches."

My point on this thread. Glad he was convicted. So sorry for the families.

The "reason" was that this kid was obviously on a path to kill someone sooner or later.
A great question, of course. "What's the matter with Florida?"

Situation 1: Two guys get shot dead in an horrific murder. Police investigate, suspect gets tried, convicted and will die in prison.
Situation 2: Guy shot dead, police investigate but authorities choose not to prosecute. Mix that up with a 'controversial' 'stand your ground' law and it's rightfully an issue.
You really can't see the logical difference?

You keep droning on about this despite there being no equivalence between the two situations other than that both were murders.

Situation 2: Investigation onging by FBI, et al. OBTW the local cops wanted to charge him that night. DA did not.
The irony I see is the rush to judgement, and the lack of a "racial" excuse for the two victims "Brits." If they were Gay or Muslim, I am sure then someone may have cared and it became a national story of a "Hate Crime."
As I see the lack of a racial excuse for a Hispanic(Democrat) shooting a black man. If he is guilty let the court system work...
The 2 UK parents wrote to the white house and got no response. Come on most of this is pandering... during an election year.
