bringing my car to the US
 
I wanna bring my car from canada to the US when i move, and i know i need a
letter from the manufacturer that states it meets all US safety regulations,
but i also read that it needs EPA approval, anyone know what EPA is?

EPA = environmental protection agency

The letter should state whether it meets the guidelines. Note that California is a different kettle of fish altogether though.

You may want to take a look at the stickers and tags placed on the car by the manufacturer -- if from a major NAFTA manufacturer, the car may already meet all the standards.

what has to be done for California rete? That is where I plan to take my
car to from canada
