You couldn't pay me any amount of money to keep a beard and not be clean shaven. Absolute scruffy bastards that are subconsciously trying to hide something.
There can be only one reason for a full beard...bone idle laziness
one reason for a goatee..."I wanna look hard"
Moustaches aren't nearly as bad but I couldn't suffer one of those either...all that poncing around trimming it and making sure its level etc..**** that.

True! But, that's not the only reason. I don't wan't to seem conceited, but I am an extremely attractive man. I'm very happily married and when I was clean shaven I couldn't go anywhere without drawing constant attention from women. It got annoying and my wife was getting tired of dealing with it as well. Growing a full beard did a fair enough job of concealing my visage that I was able to walk in public without making a scene.

Is this Silly Sod or Molly Malone typing now?
I have a full beard in the winter and trim it to a goatee in the summer. I've been doing this for probably 15 odd years. There was one brief period just after I hired on with my current company that I had to shave it because the company dress code forbade beards. After about a year the policy was rewritten and I had my beard back in a week. This was the same time the company allowed the women to wear pants. (No, I'm not kidding.)
