When I was at school kids would use that term when referring to Germans, and it didn't make a lot of sense then. Just wouldn't have expected this from adults. It's not just offensive, it's a bit silly really. Anyway, I'm not going to bang on about it, I wasn't that upset - just a teensy weensy little bit.
