So I take it then you just drive round in your company car what with free petrol 'Sorry dont use yank words' and just dust down the Jags.

You can count my old 1991 Ford Escort as one of those still on the road. Never had a speck of trouble with it and gave it to my daughter with 56,000 miles on it and she drove it until 92,000 and then sold it to someone (illegal immigrant) in her neighbor and yes, it is still running.

Next to the Fords I love the Hyundai. Bought a brand new Elantra in 2001 and upgraded to the 2005 Sonata last year. Same daughter bought (not given) the Elantra from me and both cars are a dream to drive. The Sonata is roomy, well appointed, great handling, good mileage, and dependable all for under $20,000. Hubby is buying a 2007 Elantra this spring.

Use the Jags at the weekends as it's bad for them to just sit

(Laffing)

I worked with this black guy from Oakland when I first fell of the banana boat in California. He drove this enormous caddy. Didn't understand why he drove that tank until I learned that the blacks in that part of the state really all did drive caddies.

Rushmans' old signature under his avatar was 'naturally abrasive' coming on here and winding people up was his relaxation. If he wound you up he'd feel he had done his job
Now since he's changed his signature he obviously wants to go mellow

I always buy Fords...never had any problems. I prefer to support the US or UK economies rather than Germany or Japan whenever possible. I've successfully persuaded my husband to buy a Ford this time rather than his usual Nazi mobile.

I've got a 5 year old Ford Focus ZX3 and love it. Never had any problems with it. It's cheap to service, and runs like a dream.

Yeah, these can be a bugger to park, even in the USA.
