Re: Bought the car!
You can count my old 1991 Ford Escort as one of those still on the road. Never had a speck of trouble with it and gave it to my daughter with 56,000 miles on it and she drove it until 92,000 and then sold it to someone (illegal immigrant) in her neighbor and yes, it is still running.
Next to the Fords I love the Hyundai. Bought a brand new Elantra in 2001 and upgraded to the 2005 Sonata last year. Same daughter bought (not given) the Elantra from me and both cars are a dream to drive. The Sonata is roomy, well appointed, great handling, good mileage, and dependable all for under $20,000. Hubby is buying a 2007 Elantra this spring.

I worked with this black guy from Oakland when I first fell of the banana boat in California. He drove this enormous caddy. Didn't understand why he drove that tank until I learned that the blacks in that part of the state really all did drive caddies.

Now since he's changed his signature he obviously wants to go mellow

I've got a 5 year old Ford Focus ZX3 and love it. Never had any problems with it. It's cheap to service, and runs like a dream.
