The Tertiary Immigration Officer at Detroit/Windsor wouldn't let me in, we still exchange Christmas cards ......

Did you refuse him entry before he refused you entry? :scared:

Now that's a good one..... immigration screws you over by not allowing you to penetrate.

I got my I-485 approved yesterday, even after my wife got my birthdate wrong in the interview (which she corrected after a minute or so) and only having an apartment lease, joint credit card statement and wedding photos as evidence.

I'm off to celebrate by snorting cocaine from the thigh of a virgin African princess; after which I'll buy a shotgun from Walmart.

mate was coming to see me for a hol, using the VWP, got hauled in for 4 hours and missed the connecting flight all because they rang the contact phone number, and he had written it down wrong, got two numbers the wrong way around and they gave him a ball ache because it was a dead number...lots of fun...

Congratulations!

Although I'm afraid she's not a virgin after my celebrations... and I think Walmart may be temporarily out of guns since I started my collection!

I am moving myself and wife to San Antonio, where it only takes 2 months to be approved for a greencard.

Really? That's amazingly quick. Where did you hear this? Are you talking about a marriage-based GC or employment based?

It'll take them that long to catch up with the fact you've moved, dream on.
