Bloody CA Smog Test Beware Canadians!!
:curse:So I decide to buy a new convertible and sell the 4x4 easy hey!! NOT:curse:
Drove my SUV from Illinois to California a few months back thought nothing of it but decided that the old weather did not constitute the use or need for a 4x4 so lets sell the little beaut ergh NO DEAL I go to the Smog Center and find out that my GMC was originally from Canada:huh:1st I heard of it, anyways it cannot be smogged as I need to get a OBD 11 in other words it means a flippen rip of conversion. For those of you that bring a car or into California on out of State plates or worse Canada (my tags were Illinois but origin Canada) you cannot sell your car/truck until its smogged you can sell it if it is not registered in CA but check the back history of the car 1st I thought never even entered my head hence $550 conversion to get the damn GMC Oked to sell:curse: |

I've got my eye on a CLK but it's only made in a soft top and I would like a hard top convertible. All the hard tops are a little too small inside for me. The Crossfire is a nice looking car but I prefer the hardtop to the soft top convertible...unfortunately the hardtop isn't a convertible. |

I like the Sebring...it's a good size seating for 4 adults.

or soft top convertible The problem is with NJ winter weather and travelling up and down to Canada we could really do with getting another 4 wheel drive. After 11 yrs of driving them I would like a change. |

4 seats, takes the baby seat just fine, cheap to repair, great looking, sounds terrific and you will never get to drive something like this back in blighty! http://www.flickr.com/photos/angelman_/641804943/ plus I never have to worry about getting it smog checked.. |
