The first time I drove a car there was more snow on the ground than that

Oh I remember the snow in Canada when I lived here only too well, it never stopped and was thick and deep day in day out.

Please, for the love of god! Don't have willmore repeat her childhood stories about blizzards and an outhouse!

Probably. I might go into work in a couple of hours though. Just to be different than the rest of DFW.

We had about 4" on Tuesday night, but it's mostly all gone...just in time for the next batch promised over the weekend!

I have had enough of the snow these past few years, to never want to see it again! Hopefuly in SC I won't have too But I know when it gets to August, I will be whining about humidity and Mozzies

DC and the whole metropolitan VA, MD area got badly hit by two back to back snowstorms dumping 18" of snow Friday and another 10" on Wednesday. Coupled with 50 mile an hour winds on Wednesday causing the fresh powder to drift. I've spent a lovely 4 days off work this week engaged in backbreaking shovelling digging out my house and car, and my father in laws house and car, twice. I bought some groceries on Tuesday, the four main supermarkets near me were a mobhouse with people triple parked and long lines to get into the parking lots, I drove a few miles south to a small supermarket in Alexandria that was by contrast a delight to park and shop in. My wife who grew up here said she's never seen anything like it since the President's Day snowstorm of 1979. Most of DC is back to work today for the first time this week, and then we're off again for a three day weekend of drying out and rest. Snow can bugger off.

You cant even get a cup of coffee here and there is no snow, at least in the UK they get a few flakes before the place comes to a standstill
