according to the TV ads here quite a few aren't waiting until friday...sales begin tomorrow....

mind you there are sales every day of the week here.

Yep noticed that TG sales started at JCPenney Tuesday.

Its gonna be a rough year for retailers, I manage a store up here in British Columbia and our sales have slowly been declining since September, and our economy is not as bad as much of the US.

I saw ads for K-Mart planning to be open on Thanksgiving, guess every dollar counts these days.

Nothing could appeal to me less than lining up at 5AM to buy last years laptop/TV/camera in crowded stores forced to smell people's stale turkey farts

I am with you on that one lol.
The prices go down on most items even more over the next few days, granted there is limited stock on some items, but 4am bollox not in this lifetime.
