Bicycle Sharing scheme in Boston

Just got signed, which is pretty cool...Have a membership, pick up a bike and ride, drop it off at another kiosk. Be really good when it grows out to the burbs, bit more than Brookline and Somerville, but it's a start. I like that they're trying to offer low cost helmets too which is great. So there any schemes similar to this in your neck of the woods? I know there are similar things in Canada with car usage to this, like a co-op ownership which is a little more practical than Zip Car is for those in the burbs. Something like that happening here would be really nice too. |

Totally different but, when I was getting a quote from Hertz for my hire car in the UK I noticed they are renting electric bicycles, which I thought was pretty cool

That's pretty neat...I've noticed a few more scooters around in the last year or so, surprised there aren't more tbh in places like Boston because parking is much a mare.

Have them in Chicago as well: http://chicago.bcycle.com/
Mayor Daley picked up the idea from French I think. |
