best thing = there's no bugger here, summer, lake michigan
winter in the hot tub, stupid crap old drivers piss off to FL or AZ.
worst thing = long ways to see a professional sporting event / concert. No Stella readily available.

Best: Weather (less hurricanes), beautiful waterside scenery and beaches, watersporting opportunities, good house prices.
Worst: footy shirted and union jack shorted, obnoxious, whining, sunburnt, boozy Brit cheapo package tour specialists in Orlando and Clearwater, pay worse than a lot of northern states, too many Dubbya and Cheney stickers in pickup trucks!
