We are talking about the same Home Depot chain here? A very basic hardware chain? I beg to differ....you can pretty much build a house and do everything but furnish it...

You dont work for Lowes do you?

Yes and he could spend hours in each and every aisle. Fortunately there is a DSW shoe store nearby.

Hubby agrees with you, he says "hands off home depot"

I actually used to work there, the training was pretty good I thought, but it was a while ago

I get it now. SDDep realizes we live in an area where only Sally and me don't have hired help to send to Home Depot

Can't imagine you spend much time at Home Depot when you live somewhere like this

Plus
-----
1. Buying petrol, and thinking how much it would cost back in UK.
2. Turn right on red
3. School buses, love the way everybody has to stop when they flash red lights.
4. Spring and Autumn are lovely.
5. NE corridor is cool: Washington, Philadelphia, New York, Boston. Not far apart by US scale, and all great cities to visit, with lots of historic buildings and fun stuff.

Minus
------
1. Medical costs. Being one medical disaster away from being financially kaput, even with insurance.
2. >90F and high humidity in the summer, <20F plus wind chill in the winter.
3. The stupid, careless, impatient drivers who scare everybody on the road. These idiots have guns and they will use them, check the local news around here!
4. Guns.
