Default Best places to live in Philadelphia?

Hi
Does anyone know anything about the residential areas in Philadelphia?

My partner and I are looking to rent in Philadelphia and would like to find a few names of areas that we might like to help us search for a place to live.

We'd like a house with a garden of some sort (we have a small dog) and we'd like it to be near a park/green space as we are outdoor people. We also need some sort of public transport available which will connect us to a supermarket and university of Pennsylvania. We're definitely not bothered for being 'in the thick of things', clubs are of no interest to us!

My wife is a UPenn alum and suggests the Clark Park neighbourhood of Baltimore Ave in West Philly, close to the Penn campus, on the trolley route into Center City and a gentrifying area. She lived on 40th and Baltimore for a couple of years and it's a not bad area.
