Default Best place e to buy British food online?

Hello all,

Apologies if this has already been a thread at one point or another, but I was just wondering if you guys might recommend a decent site to buy British food from. Thought I was being smart by just taking a stash from home and then having visiting friends and relatives keep me stocked up but Covid has ruined that plan and I'm down to my last Dairy Milk Whole Nut bar and feeling sorry for myself. If any of you know of a site that doesn't charge $10 for a Dairy Milk bar and £20 shipping to boot, that'd be great. Maybe a bit of a long shot but thought it was worth an ask!
Many thanks in advance!

Most foods you are likely to want from the UK are available from Amazon.

I order $50 or so worth of food from Tesco, and mother dear is kind enough to pack and ship it (Around £30) and it normally arrives within a couple of days!

You can always try world market on line for some UK things, prices are usually pretty good as well.

Are you offering your mother's services to buy and ship food for Vivid291?

I second World Market, online or in person. Our store has just reopened - which is a relief as I was dangerously low on Mrs Balls chutney.

I've picked up dairy milk fruit and nut at Target and Walgreens recently

I think that will have been produced in the US by Hershey's under licence. I don't eat it myself, but I think the purists will dispute that it tastes like the F&N produced in the UK, as it likely has butryric acid in it.

I've used British Corner Shop in the past. They will ship up to 30kg box to the US for £19.99. Last time, it took less than a week.

I would be hesitant to ship chocolate in the summer. Particularly to Vegas. Unless you like drinking chocolate.

We can buy Cadbury's Dairy Milk and Fruit & Nut at Walmart but, as Pulaski points out, it ain't really Cadbury.

Publix sell the real stuff but they are based mainly in the south east.

There are a ton of UK products now available in most supermarkets - in Morton Williams here in NYC (shoprite outside I think), I was able to pickup (legit) Cadburys, Marmite, digestives, malt vinegar, Heinz beans and Sharwoods curry sauces! I've now got a stocked cupboard in the kitchen!

And presumably an empty bank account!

You can get those things from just about any Kroger-owned grocery (they own a lot of groceries under many different names), but holy cow, they're expensive! $3 for a can of beans, $4+ for biscuits, $6 for a tiny jar of marmite. ..... You can get all those things via Amazon for a lot less.

If you don't mind buying in bulk, this place is really good and shipping is very reasonable;

The Sweet Pot | eBay Shops

You can buy crisps by the carton (32 or 36 pack) and boxes of chocolate bars (just got a box of 24 malteser bars).
My last order consisted of 1 carton walkers cheese & onion, 1 carton of walkers roast chicken, 1 box of malteser bars. They automatically upgraded my shipping from post office to dhl and I got the order in 5 days! Total came to $87.49

They also have their own web site but I haven't looked into ordering directly from them yet.
