Bergen County, NJ
Anyone know much about Bergen County in New Jersey? Is it a good place to live relatively safe for kids and schools and how long is the commute into Manhattan?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Yep it's quite a nice county. Like most places it has its good and bad areas. Within commuter distance of NYC...in fact it's a popular area for NYC commuters.. Worst thing is that ALL the shops are closed on Sundays...it's the law...even just before Christmas. NJ's largest mall is located there.

Forgot to say...can't help you with schools as I live in Morris County. I think most...if not all...the good areas are safe...but it will be very expensive to buy property and property taxes will be high.
