Beachfront commute to UN offices/Jersey City
Hi
Looking to rent somewhere on a pleasant beach within an hour's commute to both Jersey City and UN offices in Manhattan. Anyone have any ideas? Does such a place exist?!
Thanks
John

Might.
You didn't mention what you're looking for though...a 1 bed apartment won't do much if you're looking for a home, neither is $5K rent if you've only got $2K budget.

You may get a good deal on a rental for the winter months but June/July/Aug could be a problem. Most will be holiday homes...the community will be as dead as a dodo Oct/May.

It takes more than an hour to travel from the Jersey short to the UN in NYC.

Looking for a 2/3 bed home. I've absolutely no feel for the US rentals market but we're paying the equivalent of about $3k right now and could probably go up to 4k-5k if needed

Get yourself a NJ Transit rail map, and look at the communities along the coast line if you want to be close to a beach..
You would be taking the PATH from Newark Penn Station to Jersey City.
