BBC Real Player

We are having real problems with BBC real player. The site says they're experiencing severe tech problems. It keeps on cutting out and then starts again a few momemnts later. We have reloaded our hardware and software and its still happening. Is anyone else having this problem?
Is it our equipment or is the site screwed up?

Its a real p*sser as we're trying to listen to the cricket, but we're putting up a hopeless show so probably a good job we cant hear it.

Cheers all.

Sounds really annoying. I'd seen the notices about the severe technical problems, but I've not experience any myself. For TMS, one option would be to go to Five Live Sports Extra rather than Radio 4LW, and then to choose Windows Media Player. For some reason, FiveLive and FiveLive Sports Extra have Windows Media Player streams, but the others don't.

One further suggestion: Penguin Radio -- http://www.penguinradio.com/index.php. When I've used that, it's been pretty reliable and stable.

But I agree, we are way behind in this Test Match. Wow, what a change around after the test from Lords.

Cant seem to get that to work either. I think its our hardware. The wireless logitech thing is only a few months old so I cant believe it can be broken already.

I can't watch BBC 24 in the US online. Is that normal? I was in the UK last week and watched it all the time online.

Yes, completely normal. They sniff out your ISP. You can watch it on a very blurry 34kbps type stream, but that's all. :frown:
