I was thinking about getting sirius for the NFL games and Stern. But now I may have to rethink that decision if they are going to play this crap.

Chris Moyles and Howard Stern on the same news article

Moyles is hardly a Stern, lol. But I guess it's just due to the fact they'll both be on Sirius.

I haven't heard Moyles in a few years, is he still funny or just annoying now?

I'd be happier if it was Radio 2, which in recent years has gone from being the station that played Doris Day to the best radio station in the UK. The Saturday morning Jonathon Ross show is a particular highlight. At least I can listen to it online :P

Someone here had a way to listen to Radio 1 on their way to work via their web capable mobile phone. You'd need unlimited data transfer of course.

Zane Lowe and Steve Lamacq have done many live broadcasts from Austin.... (I know Zane). I may seriously have to consider getting Sirius, though Howard Stern is a jock-ass.

Same here - I listen to Radio2 a lot on-line - there's so much variety of choice.

When was he ever funny?.

Stern Rules. Some of the stuff they have been doing recently with the phone relay operators has been hilarious.

Wouldn't know. Stern is banned from this house. Wifey doesn't like him.

I think its ace. I used to love Mark and Lard they were fantastic, I listen online now I think Colin and Edith are good. I would consider getting sirius if they expanded it to all the BBC radio channels, as am big fan of radio 2 as well. Its nice to have an actual DJ to listen to rather than the pre-recorded voice that chimes in between the reel of songs that record companies pay big corp radio stations to play.
Btw my husband says I sound just like Sara Cox. Don't know if thats good or bad. Probably bad.

Seems like I've been away too long ... no idea who any of these people are. Still, I gave up on Radio One years ago and migrated to Radio 4 before moving to the US. Must be age or something. Perhaps that's why I listen to WBUR so much on NPR ... it's like Radio 4 without the dramas (which I miss ... except "The Archers" which I never was into).
