Wow, I'm impressed. I live in the desert & I had the heating on a month ago, as soon as it drops below 80 degrees at night, my heating goes on.

Glad you had a good time EnglishMum. I love going home, I can't wait until we go back again, which should be around April or May next year. Stratford Upon Avon is a must for me too, I love it there, my Mum used to take us somewhere in the Cotswolds every weekend when we were growing up.

The Cotswolds.. how I will miss them.. My favourite thing to do in England (other than walking in the beautiful countryside) is going to a village called Stanton (near Broadway) for lunch

I've been to Broadway, my Mum's best friend lives there, Stanton doesn't ring a bell. I love the Cotswolds, if we had the money, that's where we'd move back to, but we'll settle for the outskirts & weekend trips there!

It's only a tiny village with a handful of gorgeous houses. If you go up the hill there is a really charming pub that serves homemade food and has a great view.. I'd put it in my list of "things to do in England next time I visit"

I highly recommend it (and no, I am not the owner or have anything to do with this place. I just find the place stunning and want to share this with everyone)

Do you remember the name so I can pop it on my list? I'll let my Mum know about it, she's always looking for lovely new places to go for lunch with her friends.
