Default Back in the $2.50's for gas?

We're closing in on $2.50s gas again. Yesterday we were at $2.63, down around 10 cents from last week. I might actually be able to fill up for less than $40 by next week.

This is usually fairly acurate for finding cheap gas

Keep looking - we are normally more expensive on the island yet the other day there was one gas station that was down to $2.99. Everyone else is ranging anywhere from $3.01, $3.09 to still over $3.20.

NJ is cheaper than NY which is why I fill up when I visit my father every other weekend. You are about 35 to 50 cents a gallon less than us.

However, we filled up in Elmira, NY yesterday on our way back from vacation. It was $3.09 at 10:30 a.m. Don't have to buy gas for my car for at least another week so will have to make it a point to drive pass a gas station and check out what they are charging soon.

Home of Tommy Hilfiger.

My daughter drove from Toronto, via NY and PA and remarked how much cheaper the gas was here.

My husband uses Premium in his car and that's around $3....my humble Ford uses the cheap stuff.

If we were in the UK, I'd say they were getting ready to hike it up a couple of pence (if not more.) But here, you never know what gas is going to do this week or next.
