BabyCham

Help! My mum's coming for Christmas and her tipple of choice is brandy and babycham. Does anyone know if it can be sourced in Maryland? Alternatively, is there a reliable substitute that I can fool her with?

Ha ha.....it takes me back to my (late) teenage years and going to the pub at Christmastime. For a very short period of time I was partial to drinking sweet sickly drinks such as the odd Babycham, perhaps a 'Cherry B' or a 'Snowball' made with Warnincks Advocaat..... :p

FWIW what does a Snowball consist of? I know lemonade (F W Whites!) is in it as well as the advocaat but I don't know what else.

Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen Advocaat on sale in the US.

I thought that was all there was in it. Probably wrong though;)

You can get mini bottles of champagne at World Market, if that would do.

Ooooh! I must try that....for some reason I've been craving a snowball lately,I called a liquor store in Bloomington(IL) yesterday but they'd never heard of Advocat (or Babycham, for that matter!),even if they did stock it,I know it wouldn't be worth buying a whole bottle of the Advocat, just one drink will do the trick for me!....there is a very good website for drink mixes...www.drinksmixer.com
but there were no recipes for snowball or Babycham....
