I received a letter on this issue of refund. I would have to go dig it out and mail it back.

I think it may be too late now? The applications were some time last year, not sure if there was a cut off date for the class action

[QUOTE=hobbes79;7655467]"This is an independent process set up by the claims administrator and you have until 31 December 2012 to make your claim."

This was mentioned before, so I think you can still submit your claim - TBH I have no idea how long it took, it was one of those things, we submitted the claim and thought no more of it!! and then kerrr ching!!! check arrives out of the blue!!

Hi

Try https://www.airpassengerrefund.co.uk/

I've just had my refund cheque £88 odd for me and my husband. I think we flew from Heathrow to JFK about 4 times in the qualifying period so it was definitely worth filling in the form and responding.

HTH

Hmmm.....

I just received a cheque for $16.92 to cover five return flights London/Phoenix. That's $3.38 per return long haul flight.

Does that seem correct to those that have received Cheques?

Thanks.

Thanks dbj. Due to your informative yet concise reply I made enquiries and received a further check for $68.13.

Better in my account than Willy Walsh's.

How did you make the further enquiry? I'm feeling a bit hard done by at the minute - I think I may have the same problem you had....

Basically resubmitted the claim, this time by downloading the form and sending it via USPS. My original claim had been via the internet back in Oct 2008. I did note on the second form that I'd had a previous claim and gave the number.
