From the Daily Mail site:

cabin crew took an average of 22 days sick leave a year, twice the national average.

WTF??? The average in the UK is 11 per year? I've taken 2 in the last 6 years at my current job. Workshy fopps.....

yeah, but it's pretty tough on your joints being in altitude and lugging stuff around if your up in the air a lot.....that and being confined to a small area, you pick up sicknesses a lot, cold/flu etc...and do you really want a stewardess snotting all over you whilst on a flight?

That's definitely one thing I don't miss about home...the workshy, strike-prone blackmailers! Imagine that in the US...their asses would all be fired and replaced.

I hope those glorified waiters all get their extra few quid or days off (whichever they are moaning about), and then stop to consider the countless numbers of families, relatives and businessmen who have had their travel plans, hard earned holidays and/or critical business trips ruined. Talk about selfishness.
