hahaha, it's only a 15 minute drive from here (I live right next to Arrowhead Mall at the mo), depending on traffic.

But what about the 30+ miles to reach civilization every day in that gas-guzzling truck of yours with gas @ $2.40/gallon?

Hahaha, most of the stuff I need is around there anyway, so I won't need to go far. We'll be fine! Plus hubby drives a car to work, which isn't too bad on petrol. Although, we'd rather live closer to where we are right now, but we can't afford to buy a nice house around there!

We're civilized out here my man... we have everything in Surprise now, we don't even have to leave if we don't want

Partystar, keep wishing on the 15 mins to the mall....I drove down there and back, not even quite as far this morning, and I was over an hour on the road due to the joy of roadworks of course :scared:

See ya Friday....are you joining us this time Pimbot??

Check you're not on the red area here then. Use the Acrobat zoom tool to find your subdivision.

Thats the great thing about Tempe, it's landlocked.

We got a fairly good deal I think, but we knew the owners which helped. The same 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 car garage house with a huge garden as big as ours, would be upwards of 500,000 plus just 15 miles north. The housing market here has slowed considerable from last year when prices went up over 40%

All the "older" stuff in the valley was built on good soil. The new stuff is built on bloody quicksand. Wouldn't touch it with a barge pole. You really can't go wrong with Tempe.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but it will only zoom in to the picture shown, not to my subdivision.
