Australian citizen GC holder to marry UK citizen

I am an Australian and I currently live in the UK (able to stay
permantly if I wish) but am also a green card holder and want to move
back there with my UK citizen boyfriend when we get married. How long
should I expect to wait for him to be able to get a visa for the US
(and be able to work) I can live in the UK as long as I need to - I
am just constantly hopping back and forth to keep my green card valid.
Any advise would be much appreciated!

There is the possibility that US immigration may not that you are no longer
resident in the US and take steps to remove your greencard (yup, it does
happen). However, assuming that that doesn't happen, you can file an I-130
for him. As the spouse of a permanent resident he would have to wait for a
"visa number" to become available in his category - and for spouses of
permanent residents, that's six years right now :( Usually citizenship would
be a way of speeding this up but, in your situation, I doubt that you would
qualify.

Andy.

I'm not really here - it's just your warped imagination.
