Of all the colleges you listed, Auburn is by far the best know due to having one of the best football teams.

Has she considered Marshall University? I can't speak to their sports management program, but if she's keen on forensics - it has one of the highest ranked (if not the highest ranked) forensics programs in the US. I work at MU's Forensic Science Center.

Stanford University has probably been the overall best women's volleyball team for the past 30 years either winning or being runner up to the national title nearly 50% of the time.
What's the aim here, sport or education?

Looking at that list, it doesn't seem that they both go hand in hand. Though depends on if any of them specialise in the subjects interested.

If they're a top flight school and you've a good enough sporting record, they will find a way to get you, so always worth a second punt at Stanford.

The missus has a cousin who goes there and a uncle who teaches there as well, though he's history. Looks really lovely and the cousin enjoys the sports/US football out there.

No idea about the rest of the place though.

Unless she is a top player from around the world, Stanford would likely be extremely difficult to get a scholarship for their women's volleyball program. I find it pretty unusual that Stanford attracts the top players since Stanford doesn't give much leeway academically to their jocks and they must maintain good grades to participate in their sports programs.

Hi Ian, will probably get my daughter to pm you on Nova Southeastern for info if thats is ok

Didn't you mentioned Auburn previously? Community colleges are normally two year colleges.

That is the problem. Schools with good budgets for women's volleyball have scouts that travel the US and Europe watching top teams play and evaluate the players. Unfortunately few travel to Australia or NZ so they wouldn't likely see your daughter play and wouldn't be sure of her talent.

Yeah but it depends on what she wants more. It seems like a full ride and the academics are more important - with volleyball being the vehicle to achieve that. Seems like she has her head screwed on if you ask me.

I think Colorado State in Fort Collins is supposed to be a very beautiful campus and area. Never been myself.

Doesn't U. Nebraska have a good women's volleyball team?
