Hi,

I will soon be going through the process of applying for a Spouse Visa (my wife is a US citizen). We are currently living in England and I was wondering if anyone had any information on the following:

Once I have started the Visa process, will I still be able to visit the US on the Visa Waiver program. Basically can I still visit for a holiday?

Thanks in advance

Yes, you can visit on a visa waiver, but you will need to be prepared to show compelling evidence that you intend to return to the UK at the end of your holiday.

ps: if your wife is already resident in the UK, the visa process will take only 2 - 3 months for you. It is probably less stressful to either take your holiday before filing the petition, or to forego it altogether.
