Default applying for AP again

Hey everyone, my advance parole ran out this month. I had my AOS interview but I never got a stamp in my passport because my original file was still in Atlanta. Well, we were waiting and then it was time to file for EAD again, and when i asked them where the file was, they said it was in Greer. Now that my AP is up, I need to apply for that again. Problem is the immigration officer took my I-94 at the interview. I have a photocopy but will this be a problem when I go to UK and come back, and don't have an old I-94? She wrote a load of weird stuff in my passport where it was....

I am trying to find out what is going on but trying to find anything out from the INS is like talking to a brick wall!!

PS I applied in Charleston, SC

Nope won't be a problem at all. Jim's I-94 was taken from his passport and his A/P at the time of our AOS interview and he didn't get the stamp at that time either. He continued to use his A/P with the I-94 on it without a problem. Will admit he only went to Canada with it but they scruntized the document thoroughly both on the Canadian side and the US side.

As a matter of fact when you are using the new A/P you would not have had an I-94 on it anyway.
