Hi,

Last Friday I showed up at the local INS in downtown Chicago just to find out that
they're closed , Apparently they advertise it outside their offices but not on
the website.

Anyway, they told me that the AOS submitting should happen by mail and not by person
and did hand me a packet of AOS by marriage.

Anyway, I am about to mail the forms and I had some quick questions.

- do you mail by regular mail ? would you track it by paying extra ?

- for the I-864 (affedavit of support), I have got my three tax transcripts do you
need to write a letter other than the I-864a than my wife is sponsoring me but I am
using my tax forms. also I am the sponsor's household _immigrant_/ member and not
member alone, right ?

-would you pay one money order for everything or one for each form ?

-the checklist for chicago mentions to send the I-693 for doctors, is that really
needed to start the AOS ? I thought you do that before going to interview. The packet
did come with the I-693 and list of doctors.

-do they need all my visa's while in US ? like the F1, Practical training permit, to
H1bs, etc ? or just the last H1-b I94 paper copy ?

Thanks for any info!!!
