Default aos panic!

Hi all.. this is my first time posting, and I'm really hoping someone might be able to share their experiences. basically I came to the us on a k1 visa, got married and have my aos interview on the 25th of this month (jan 05). only thing is, my husband became sick soopn after we were married and has not worked since. He's going to be fine, and my income covers the poverty level for us, and I saw another thread here that makes me think that part should be ok, however my husband is on public assistance at the moment, and I am really worried that could mess things up. :scared: We are still trying to get our lives together right now and coming off the assistance would make things quite a bit harder. Does anyone out there have a similar experience, or does anyone know how sympathetic the ins are about stories like ours? We're in nyc by the way.
Happy New Year to everyone..

British Expats has several forums devoted to US immigration related issues. You'll probably find more useful information in the 'US Marriage Based Visas' forum in the Immigration section of the list of forums.

Please search there and if you don't find anything, post there instead.
