Default AOS Packet returned: Send to another address

Hi all,

My wife and I live in South Carolina. We recently sent her AOS packet into the Atlanta, GA office. This serves as a district office to us. We received the packet back today saying we must mail it to the INS office in Greer, South Carolina (satellite office). I'm not sure why this is. I thought the Atlanta office served our area. The packet we received in the mail even said to send it to the Atlanta office.

Any clues on why we have to do this?

Thanks,

- khabibiuf

Even though Atlanta is the District office for South Carolina, it is the sub offices
in Greer and Charleston that serve your state. See the INS website
http://www.ins.usdoj.gov/graphics/fi...on/aboutus.htm Information
about the Greer office is at the bottom of this page. Take Care. Shelley
