AOS Interviews
 

Hi,

i'm seeing a flurry of emails about AOS interviews and this got me thinking about these.

Are they mandatory for I-485 AOS filings? I'm about to file with my I-140 approved in the Alien ef Extraordinary Ability category.

Should I expect to be interviewed.

Also, I don't know if it's relevent but I'm a UK citizen.

Interviews are not mandatory, but are discretionary, for employment-based I-485
cases. It is said that interviews are requested in about 2 to 5% of cases. The
percentage is probably a bit higher for extraordinary ability cases.
