Default AOS approval in San Diego today

Hello!
My husband and I were finally successful at our third AOS interview this morning, at INS in downtown San Diego.
We had the assistance of an attorney recommended to us by Folinskya (thank you SO much!). The attorney's presence with us at this third interview, I'm certain, made a world of difference.
Next step: update the AOS experiences page.
Thank you again to all who assisted us!

What happened?

Great news and congratulations Penny. I know it has been a rough road to travel and so happy for you both that it is finally over with.

And thanks for updating the experience pages. Will mean a lot to others in the future.

Hi John:
We had many problems. I have just submitted the update to the AOS experiences pages at kamya. Hopefully it will appear in a day or so. In a nutshell: INS didn't believe our marriage was valid, in spite of armfulls of evidence. Husband is 17 yrs younger, he also was previously denied entry on Visa Waiver, and we both had been married before (but I was divorced for 9 years when I met my husband).
Thankfully we were finally approved! Please see my posting when it appears, under San Diego, California - 6.

Thank you Rete for your input this past year and a half, you've been so helpful!
