AOS, AP and EAD question

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has filed through Denver or Salt Lake City for their AOS, AP or work auth.
I understand that if filing through Salt Lake sub office for AOS that the interview can be held within 2 months.
Just wondering if I can do a walk in and receive my employment authorization on the same day and my AP soon after. Or do I mail it all. Just slightly confused.
I'm getting married 1 week after arriving in Wyoming, Is it best to just wait until after I'm married and get a 1 year work auth or should I file for a 90 day before getting married and then file for a 1 year when I do my AOS and AP?
