Do you send in the affidavit of support with the AOS papers or wait until the interview to submit it?
Thanks |
Some offices require it with your AOS, but there have been a few who required it at
the interview. Which office are you filing with? Take Care. Shelley > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > |
Probably with Nebraska unless it has to go to Kansas City. We are in Missouri

AOS paperwork for family based petitions go the local INS office, not the Service
Center. If you send it to NSC you will wait three months then have all the paperwork returned to you. You need to figure out whether you should use the Kansas City or St. Louis INS office - see their websites http://www.ins.usdoj.gov/graphics/fi...ty/aboutus.htm http://www.ins.usdoj.gov/graphics/fi...is/aboutus.htm When you have chosen the correct office - read what that office's filing procedure is - it can be found on the page. This still doesn't answer your original question on whether or not to file the I-864 with your AOS - try this website, with personal experiences from both Kansas City and St. Louis INS offices http://www.kamya.com/aos/missouri.html Take care.
