Anywhere on East coast Florida
Anyone recommend good areas for families on east cost. We were looking at Orlando but not such good community links, which are important to us.
We're particuly edging towards Daytona beach and south down the coast line towards Melbourne - yes its a big area to cover.
I would appreiciate any local views of the city / town you live and work in, particully from parents with small children.
I have a young family of 4 and 7 year olds who do love the beach scene and my wife enjoys the old style of main street towns - yes we like the malls as well, but do enjoy browsing local shops and boutiques. most of all we dont want to live in an area where everything is off the main highway and 5 miles down the road.

I live on the East Coast of Florida in a Wonderful City called Stuart.
I see that you are looking around the Orlando/Daytona areas and as much as these are great places have you considered coming further down the coast. We are really less than 2hrs away from Orlando.
If you are into golf, love going to the beach, interested on boating or fishing then I would consider this area known as the Treasure Coast.
I know this may sound like a sales pitch but you may want to go onto the web site of the Real Estate Company that I work for, I tell you to have a look here as they give great detail on the City of Stuart and the surrounding areas. I am sure that you will love what you see.
