I am just curious to know that anyone who filed there I-129F petition to Nebraska & got an RFE, How long after you sent in the petition did you get notified about the RFE?

We did. I think you get your RFE notification at the same time you would otherwise
get your approval. At least for us, others using Nebraska who submitted when we did
were getting their approvals when we got our RFE. At that time, it was taking
Nebraska about eight weeks to process the K-1 petition. The RFE added about a month
to our timeline, including two weeks to obtain the additional document they wanted.
My timeline is below. Hope that helps. Kristin

February 6, 2002: I-129F petition mailed February 21, 2002 - First NOA April 5,
2002: RFE issued April 19, 2002: NSC receives evidence per automated system (we
mailed it on
4/17/02)May 3, 2002: Petition approved! May 23, 2002 - Packet 3 received from
Montreal

Thanks for responding. In a week it will be a month that I got my first NOA & so far I been callin that number to check on my status & still get the same message & nothin about any RFE. So far so good. I am just really worried about everything with this process & was just wondering if they give the RFE's out shortly after they get your petition.

Anyone else who got one from Nebraska please post your timeline. Thanks

I just got my NOA for I130 about a month after they recieved the proof that they were
asking for in the RFE.

I got my first NOA in the mail 5 days after I had sent in my petition. So in a week will be 30 days that I have had my first NOA & so I am just wondering if there is still a chance I could get an RFE or am outta the clear. heh
